Each glass still features the same vintage tarot card artwork and is individually sandcarved in our studio using compressed air and abrasive to carve directly into the surface of the glass. You’ll still feel that gorgeous three-dimensional relief under your fingertips, and the image remains completely permanent and dishwasher safe.
So what makes these “seconds”?
These glasses may show one or more minor imperfections that occurred during the sandcarving process, such as:
Slightly blown-out details or lettering in the artwork
A letter or edge softened where the stencil lifted mid-etch
A hazy area where the abrasive grazed outside the masked zone
Other subtle quirks that don’t affect durability or use
