The Dog Walker Porcelain Ornament
Inspired by an illustration of a crowned woman hunting with her dogs in the margins of the Alphonso Psalter (c 1284–1316), which was made for Alphonso, son of Eleanor of Castile and Edward I, along with an illustration of a dragon in the Bestiaire of Philippe de Thaon (England, c 1300).
At the center of each star in this ornament design is a small hole to let light through for extra sparkle on the tree.
Each ornament is handmade in porcelain, handpainted and glazed to a high-gloss finish, and embellished with 22k gold luster accents. Each piece is unique and one-of-a-kind. Small marks and minor imperfections may be visible due to the nature of the handmade process.
Measures approximately 4.5” tall.
